What is reflexology?

Not just a foot massage - Reflexology is a complimentary therapy based on the principle that all the systems of the body are mapped out in reflex points on the feet, hands and ears - (though feet are predominantly worked on during the session). By using specific thumb and finger techniques, the reflexologist stimulates nerve endings in these peripheral surfaces..

Together with the deeply relaxing effects of the therapy, this allows the body to tap into its own healing abilities, opening up the natural pathways that the body uses to heal itself and interrupting the pattern of stress - bringing balance to the body and its systems, where there is imbalance.

Who benefits from reflexology?

Just about everyone, from babies to the elderly can benefit from Reflexology. It is important to understand that reflexology is not just for helping the sick become well - it is about maintaining health and keeping the body in the best possible condition.
Some common problems that reflexology can help with include:

- digestive issues/constipation/indigestion
- insomnia
- anxiety/depression
- hormonal imbalances
- chronic pain
- sinus problems
- long covid/asthema
- neurological conditions
